Wedding Wednesday Update: Photographer, Dress, and Rentals

Next Monday marks three months since Cameron and I got engaged! It feels like it’s been much longer than that -- probably because I am counting down the seconds until June 22, 2019!

 

I have been brainstorming ideas for new content and decided that a bi-weekly or monthly wedding update post would be something fun to do! I have always been interested in weddings, even before I started dreaming of my own. It is interesting + helpful to see how other people planned their big day and what choices they made for florals, place settings, venue, etc.

 

It’s only been three months, but we have gotten so much done since May 13th! I knew that with having the summer off, if I could get a lot of planning done during that time, it would help make the school year a little easier if we had made a lot of the big planning decisions already.

 

So far we have:

 

• Found a dress

• Chosen a bridesmaids dress

• Booked a photographer

• Proposed to the wedding party

• Picked out these rentals for the reception: Place setting, flatware, linens, tables, and chairs

• Taken our engagement photos

• Booked ceremony venue

• Booked reception venue

• Chosen a day-of coordinator, florist, and planner

• Chosen an officiant

 

Up next on the list:

• Register for china and household items

• Create wedding website

• Engagement party

 

While things are surely moving forward, there is a lot left to do. Good thing we have some time! We can’t wait for next June!
