I Quit My Job Last Year and Here's What Happened

It’s been nearly a year since I quit my teaching job and society has hated me for it.

Ok - maybe hate is a little too harsh a word to use, but needless to say, society has rejected the act. The naysayers - well, let’s just say they have outnumbered the supporters. Why is this?
